Just do it!
A couple of nights ago I performed in the Nike fashion show for the Rebel Sport 2010 conference at ANZ stadium in Sydney's Olympic Park. It was a 'battle of the brands' so to speak with all the major brands putting on a show. Nike of course being the ultimate sporting brand was the final show for the evening and certainly had the crowd going!
I opened the show with a few contortion moves which was then followed by various dance performances by a bunch of my favourite dancer friends including Ame Delves, Sarah Jane Coombe, Melissa Ambrosini, Laura May, Michael Boyd, Troy Harrison and David Denis. American B-boy William Sanchez closed the show with some crazy moves like spinning on one hand! Amazing!
Nike even gave us all a couple of pairs of sneakers which was so nice of them! I scored some orange, pink and silver Lunarglides and some pearlescent pink, grey and white Air Max Lights.

Melbourne & my sister...
I've been in Melbourne the past few days working, doing some bridal couture shows. It is freezing here! I was expecting it to be cold, but I wasn't prepared for it to be that cold! I arrived Friday morning after catching a 6am flight and had to head straight to the venue for a full day of fittings and rehearsals, suitcases and all. First thing we did upon arrival was strip off for the fittings. I cannot tell you how freezing we were! The loading dock doors were all wide open while the venue was being set up so the wind was blowing in while we were standing around in little more than a flesh g-string!! Brrrrr!
It wasn't all work, work, work while I was in town. I got to visit my little sister while I was there! I stayed at her place for a couple of nights and we got to hang out after I finished my shows. Last night we had dinner on Chapel Street at a cute little Japanese restaurant. We rocked up accidentally matching in floral dresses and black blazers...sisters think alike I guess! ♥

Hair Expo 2010
Hair Expo Australia has come and gone for another year, held over the June long weekend at the Sydney exhibition centre in Darling Harbour.
This year I worked for Sharon Blain's The Art of Hair as a lingerie clad femme fatale in an Agent Provocateur inspired show. The show began with a man dressed in trench coat and hat standing under a street lamp while I circled him in silhouette before I strangled him with the belt of my coat! Very fun role to play! My team of sexy assassins then appeared and we performed a routine choreographed by the lovely Sally Clark to the track Confide in Me wearing various forms of pink lingerie, see-through plastic coats and jewels. The hair was amazing, some girls had huge bows made of hair and others had large rolls almost like tubes twisted around. It took a lot of pins, braids, hairspray, gel and sewing to keep it all in place!
I also performed at the Schwarzkopf show which was held on the final night of Hair Expo at the gala awards evening. There were many sections to the show from military, cyber sport, new rebel, punk princess and boudoir. I was in the cyber sport section and we wore dresses made out of coloured wetsuit material with Schwarzkopf graphic leggings and armbands, acrylic jewellery, orange elastic heels and had bright blue or green eyes with bright orange nail polish.
Blogging about this years Hair Expo got me thinking and I can't find a blog about previous years shows, so I thought I'd post a few images from past Hair Expo shows...I wasn't able to find a photo from all the shows I've done but here are a few I could find...

Me and my girl...
Pitstop between meetings at Coogee beach with my little girl Deyzi (pronounced Daisy...long story) and a soy chai latte. I wore a vintage dress, Country Road cardigan, Ambra opaque stockings, Basque ankle boots, Cantori necklace, Sportsgirl rings, Equip sunglasses and my Marc Jacobs handbag.
