Wednesday evening I attended the Peace Angels Charity Fundraiser event at the Sir Stamford hotel at Circular Quay. The Peace Angels are a wonderful non-profit organisation and my dearest friend Sarah Jane Coombe is the global peace angels ambassador and face of the charity which has seen her fly around the world for meetings with US President Barack Obama, U2's Bono and the Prime Minister of Ireland Enda Kenny. 

It was a fantastic turnout hosted by actor Salvatore Coco with guests entertained by Packed to the Rafters star Hugh Sheridan, DJ Dan Slater on the decks and The Voice/Celebrity Apprentice star Prinnie Stevens.

Gymnastics flashback - Qantas International Gymnastics Challenge

Check out this video of me competing at the 2000 Qantas International Gymnastics Challenge. This competition event held at the Sydney Super Dome at Olympic Park was also a test event for the athletes and officials prior to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
I placed in the top ten all around after the individual AA finals and was the highest ranked Australian Rhythmic Gymnast behind some of my all time favourite gymnasts Alina Kabaeva, Irina Tchachina and Elena Vitrichenko!

Look what we found packed away in an old box...some of my old gymnastics videos! We thought we'd share a few so check out a little video compilation of me competing back in 1999 at the Australian National Gymnastics Championships aged 16! I won 2 gold, 2 silver and a bronze medal! 

Silver Party 2013

Thursday night was the annual Silver Party for 2013 held again at the stunning Barford mansion in Bellevue Hill. This year unfortunately was drenched with rain but that didn't stop the guests from showing up for such a wonderful cause, the Sydney Children's Hospital. It was a great evening despite the rain and managed to raise a record breaking $400,000!
