Doll House by The Art of Hair

It's the June long weekend which means it's that time of year again. It's Hair Expo time! This year I appeared in The Art of Hair by Letitia Booth's show "Doll House" choreographed by Sally Clark.

We arrived at the Sydney Exhibition Centre for the Generation Next show in the morning for a tech rehearsal, then it was in to hair and makeup for the next 5 hours! We were made up to look like colourful dolls, I wore a baby blue tutu style dress decorated with silver chains and safety pins, with bright green fishnet stockings, frilly white gloves and matching blue mary jane shoes. My wig was a blonde and pale pink giant triangle on top of my head with a long pink braid. Everyone looked fantastic and the show was lots of fun!

III - short film

I recently shot a short performance based film called III, about three individuals, in three different worlds, in three minutes. The film features three different performers, a dancer named Travers Ross, a martial artist named Hakan Manav and myself performing a mix of contortion skills and acrobatic tricks.

My scenes were filmed on location in the bush, rolling around in the dirt. I was covered with mud and had all sorts of scratches all over my legs from twigs. I also had the occasional spider run over me! Eek.
Also a big thanks to Nike for the outfit and sneakers! 

III is also the first film in Australia to ever be filmed using the new Sony F65 camera. Check out the film below and some behind the scenes photos taken during filming! 

Marquee Sydney Grand Opening

Last Friday night was the much anticipated Grand Opening of Marquee nightclub at The Star. I was very excited to check out the no expense spared venue and even more excited to be attending the event as a guest rather than having to perform on the night! The guest list was full of international and local celebrities including Will.i.am, Redfoo from LMFAO, Paris Hilton, Kellan Lutz, Nick Lachey, Vanessa Minnillo, Ashlee Simpson, Joe Jonas, Slash, Sharni Vinson, Wilmer Valderrama, Mel B, Jodi Gordon, Ricki-Lee Coulter, Erin McNaught and I could go on and on!
It was a great night. I was particularly excited to see Redfoo from LMFAO's DJ set and have a quick catch up with friend Sharni Vinson. I didn't manage to get many photos on the night but I got a couple of snaps and a little video of Redfoo performing Party Rock Anthem!

Awkward Grand Opening

Last night was the Grand Opening of Awkward, a new bar in Sydney's Darlinghurst.
I opened the event with my contortion show and performed to a track created especially for me, a remix of Oh Yeah by Yello with additional lyrics and vocals by my friend Michael Boyd.
I wore a flesh coloured Swarovski encrusted catsuit, gold high heels, gold diamante earrings, black glitter eyeshadow and hot pink nail polish!
