RSPCA Donation

As an animal lover, the thought of animals not having a loving home, being abused or abandoned really upsets me. That's why I decided to do something. I often donate money here and there to animal charities, but I wanted to actively go out there and do something more than just clicking a button to transfer a few dollars.
The RSPCA is a non government, community based charity which depends heavily on donations and support from the public, so I rallied around and sent emails to friends and family asking for everyone to donate something from the RSPCA's wishlist which I would then collect and take to the Yagoona shelter in NSW.
Unfortunately of the 200 or so people I contacted to help out and donate something as little as a single tennis ball, only 16 people actually donated anything. I must admit I was a little shocked, but thank goodness for those people that did! Some people donated well over $100 worth of brand new products!

We managed to collect a huge amount of goodies to donate including:

13 squeaky toys
12 tennis balls
9 cans cat food
6 blankets
6 cat balls
5 rope toys
5 boxes dry cat food
4 bags fresh dog treats
3 bags bird seed
3 bags raw hide
3 rubber balls
2 mats
2 kitty scratching posts
2 bags rabbit food
2 bags beef strips
2 bags cat treats
2 dog leads
2 cans dog food
1 bed
1 box chocolate dog biscuits
1 food bowl
1 soft toy
1 roll poo bags
1 play tent
1 bag dry dog food
1 bag assorted biscuits and treats
1 grooming kit

I would really like to thank everyone who helped out and donated something to make these shelter animals lives a little better.

Thank you to...
